Fire Fighting Protection

Fire fighting system

At EPA , safety is our top priority. We understand the importance of safeguarding our personnel, equipment, and the surrounding environment. That’s why we’ve invested in a state-of-the-the-art firefighting system and facilities to ensure we’re prepared for any situation.

Pumping Station:

The fire house pump system includes two series of main and auxiliary pumps. This robust setup ensures a reliable and continuous supply of water for all fire-fighting needs.

  • Advanced Monitoring Systems: Our facilities are equipped with cutting-edge monitoring systems that vigilantly track water levels, hydrant functionality, and foam delivery readiness. This allows for immediate detection of any potential issues and ensures a swift response.
  • Reliable Water Supply: We maintain a robust water supply system with strategically placed storage tanks and backup resources. Water level sensors constantly monitor our reserves, guaranteeing sufficient water for firefighting operations.
  • Functional Hydrant Network: A comprehensive network of fire hydrants is strategically located throughout the terminal. These hydrants are meticulously maintained and monitored to ensure they are always ready for use. Some of our hydrants may utilize wet barrel or dry barrel systems, depending on climate considerations, and all are equipped with sensors to detect leaks, pressure drops, or freezing conditions.
  • Foam Suppression Technology: We are equipped with a dedicated foam delivery system specifically designed to combat fires involving flammable liquids like oil. Foam concentrate level sensors and foam pump/proportioner monitoring ensure we have adequate reserves and proper mixing ratios for effective foam application.

Regular Training: Our personnel undergo rigorous and regular fire safety training, ensuring they are proficient in operating firefighting equipment and responding effectively to emergencies.
